Thomas Horst and Luís Tirapicos, special editors of the Isis Current Bibliography of the History of Science
29 September 2018
Isis, is on the oldest international journals in the History of Sciences, and has published its Current Bibliographies every year, listing the latest publications in this scientific field, a reference tool for many researchers. The series was recently complemented by an online database, the IsisCB website, and keeps expanding to works in non-english languages, as well as new thematic fields.
Starting in 2017, the Current Bibliographies added contributing editors to support its collection, and it is this team that now includes our PhD researchers Luís Tirapicos (special editor for publications in portuguese language and archaeoastronomy) and Thomas Horst (history of cosmography (maps, atlas, globes, instruments and texts). Their mandates, which can be renewed further, will last for two years (2018-2020).
