New fellowships in the ERC projects MEDEA-CHART and RUTTER

The ERC-funded research projct The Medieval and Early Modern Nautical Charts (MEDEA CHART), led by CIUHCT researcher Joaquim Alves Gaspar, has opened a new fellowship, for scholars holding a masters' degree in any scientific area. Candidates must live in Portugal for the duration of the research work, and may already be enrolled in the History and Philosophy of Sciences doctoral programme (at FCUL) at the moment of application. The ERC-funded research project Making the Earth Global: Early Modern Nautical Rutters and the Construction of a Global Concept of the Earth (RUTTER), led by CIUHCT researcher Henrique Leitão, is looking for an expert on IT/computer science, with a background on databases and web development. Applications will be accepted until November 15. The call can be consulted here or downloaded below.
