Henrique Leitão appointed to the Board of Directors of the Belém Cultural Center

The Minister of Culture, Dalila Rodrigues, appointed Henrique Leitão to the Board of Directors of the Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation (CCB) for the three-year period 2024-2026. Also appointed were anthropologist Eglantina Monteiro and essayist Paulo Pires do Vale, commissioner of the National Arts Plan, and the reappointment of businesswoman Rita Nabeiro and architect José Mateus from the previous structure. The Ministry of Finance also appointed economist João Duque, president of the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão. The board of directors is inherently chaired by the president of the CCB Foundation's board of directors, Francisca Carneiro Fernandes, who took office in December 2023.
According to the foundation's statutes, the CCB is made up of a board of directors, a supervisory board and a board of directors, which is made up of seven members, five of whom are appointed by the Ministry of Culture and one by the Ministry of Finance.
