CIUHCT encourages applications for doctoral scholarships under the protocol between the Foz Côa Foundation and FCT.IP on topics related to the notion of the Anthropocene and its implications for the history and philosophy of science, technology and medicine, through its research unit and associated doctoral programs - Doctoral Program in History, Philosophy and Heritage of Science and Technology (NOVA School of Science and Technology) and Doctoral Program in History of Science (FCUL).
CIUHCT is the leading national unit on this subject, and is associated with the international Anthropocene Curriculum projects of the Haus der Kulturen der Welt and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, having organized the Anthropocene Campus Lisbon and the Anthropocene Forum, an initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education under the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union.
The call is open until May 31, 2024, at 17:00 (Lisbon time).
