CIUHCT partner of the 2021 Velo City conference (Lisbon)

As reported by several media outlets during the past week, the city of Lisbon has been selected by the European Cyclists' Federation to organise the Velo City conference of 2021, a "reference in terms of planning and promotion of bicycle use". The application was coordinated by Lisbon's City Hall, with various partners and a compromise in different spheres (political, industrial, academic, and activist).

CIUHCT will be part of this event through the upcoming book “Cycling Cities: The Lisbon Experience”, a project on the history of cycling mobility in the portuguese capital, which includes our researchers João Machado and M. Luísa Sousa.
