First Honoris Causa doctorate in History of Science and Technology in Portugal, proposed by CIUHCT

The Faculty of Science and Technology of the NOVA University of Lisbon will award Professor Johan Schot (University of Sussex/Eindhoven University of Technology), the first Honoris Causa Doctoracte in History of Science and Technology in Portugal.
CIUHCT has been actively involved in this process, since its connection with the international Tensions of Europe network has been, and continues to be, a main supporter of its internationalisation. This Honoris Causa also attests an acknownledgment of the vigour of the national community of Historians of Science, Technology and Medicine, of which CIUHCT stands as an example.
The ceremony will be on March 21, 5pm, at the Auditorium of the NOVA University's Rectory (Campolide). The Honoris Causa sponsor will the current coordinator of CIUHCT, Maria Paula Diogo, while our own Ana Carneiro will introducte Professor Johan Schot.
