CIUHCT encourages and welcomes applications for Doctoral Scholarships under the Foz Côa Foundation and FCT.IP protocol

CIUHCT encourages, via the reception within the research center and associated programs — PhD in History, Philosophy and Heritage of Science and Technology (NOVA School of Science and Technology) and PhD Programme in History and Philosophy of Science (FCUL) —, applications to doctoral scholarships within the scope of the protocol between Foz Côa Foundation and FCT.IP on themes related to the Anthropocene.
Côa Parque - Foundation for the safeguard and enhancement of the Côa Valley, also known as Côa Parque Foundation is launching a grant application process for the attribution of 10 research grants, hereinafter called Doctoral Research Grants, in the scientific areas of "Environment and Global Change", "Environment, Territory and Population", "Cultures and Cultural Production", "Study of the Human Past", "Agriculture and Forestry Sciences", "Geosciences", "Biological Sciences" and "Institutions, Values, Beliefs and Behaviour".
CIUHCT is the leading national research center on this topic, being associated with the international projects Anthropocene Curriculum of Haus der Kulturen der Welt and The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, and having organized the Anthropocene Campus Lisbon and the Anthropocene Forum, an initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, under the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union.

The evaluation panel of candidates for the competition is coordinated by Maria Paula Diogo, and also includes Ana Simões, Marta Lourenço and José Luís Câmara Leme.
The call is open until November 30, 2021, 23:59 (Lisbon time).
