Cândido Marciano receives scientific merit medal at the Ciência 2018 meeting

Professor Cândido Marciano da Silva has been awarded the medal for scientific merit, presented by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal, in a plenary session of the Ciência 2018 meeting.

The awards, created by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, honor "national figures, who, by their high professional qualities and fulfillment of duty are distinguished in their valuable and exceptional contribution for the development of science and scientific culture in Portugal".

Cândido Marciano is, currently, a member of CIUHCT, and has always been a friend of the History of Science and Technology field.
