The Science and the Art of Glass

The Corning Museum of Glass (in New York, USA) tells the stories of glass beginning from the ancient world up to the very latest innovations in scientific and artistic uses of glass. Marvin Bolt, Curator of Science and Technology, will lead you on a picture tour of the museum and describe his efforts to bring together science and art in exhibitions and research, including his ongoing studies of early telescopes.
