CIUHCT participates in the commemoration of the 25 years of Manguinhos

The História, Ciências, Saúde - Manguinhos journal, the reputed scientific periodical of Casa de Oswaldo Cruz/Fiocruz, is celebrating its 25 years, and organising a commemorative workshop between June 26 and 28, in Rio de Janeiro, with invited scholars from all over Brasil, but also the USA and Europe.
The meeting will debate the present and future of scientific publications in History, and CIUHCT researcher M. Luísa Sousa will attend the session in June 27, dedicated to the potential, difficulties and tendencies of peer review, as chief editor of HoST - Journal of History of Science and Technology, a joint publication of CIUHCT, Instituto de Ciências Sociais, Instituto de História Contemporânea, and CIDEHUS.
