Description
Being an integral part of CIUHCT's Strategic Project 2015-2020, the Dictionary of Biographies of Portuguese Scientists, Engineers, Physicians or STM scholars working in Portugal, aims to continue the work that has been carried out in the previous project Biographies. The objective is to create a work of reference that gathers approximately 1000 entries of historical subjects, who were either nationals or foreigners that worked in Portugal, and whose activities are of reputable mention.
The edition is the responsibility of CIUHCT and authoring the biographies will be CIUCHT's members as well as invited scholars.
