The publication depicts the building of the Sotavento Delegation of the Algarve Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries in Tavira, which encapsulates the memory of the local and regional farming community from the first half of the 20th century to the present day. Heir to the old Tavira Agricultural Post, the embryo of the Ministry of Agriculture's deconcentrated services in the Algarve region, and the gateway to the Tavira Agricultural Experimentation Center (CEAT), this place is a repository of knowledge and know-how developed, produced and passed on over the decades.
