Bruno Almeida and Marta Macedo awarded

Bruno Almeida has received the Prémio Cultura 2012, awarded by the Sociedade de Geografia de Lisboa for his PhD dissertation "A Influência da Obra de Pedro Nunes na Náutica dos Séculos XVI e XVII: Um Estudo de Transmissão de Conhecimento" (FLUL, 2012; supervised by Henrique Leitão). An interview with him is available at the Faculty of Sciences' website (portuguese link).

Marta Macedo has received the Prémio SAHFC 2012, awarded by the Executive Committee of the Secção Autónoma de História e Filosofia das Ciências (SAHFC) of the Faculty of Sciences. More here (portuguese link).
